About John: John felt the pull toward meditation about 38 years ago at age 30. He had begun to experience a reality that was outside of our time-based world. In order to become a well-rounded and trauma sensitive teacher he studied with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach and is now a certified mindfulness meditation teacher.

A workshop using Science of Mind Principles to create a new paradigm for folks between 50 & 99+ to live lives of greater abundance, purpose, connection, and joy.
We live in an exciting time. Most people turning fifty today can expect to live another thirty plus years. That’s more time than they spend in childhood, adolescence, and for many it’s more time than they spent working. The question is, are those 30 years spent in living full lives of continued learning, sharing your gifts, reviving old dreams and developing new ones or is it time spent living within the stereotypes of what it means to be aging.
The dominant cultural view of aging is a process of deterioration, dependency, reduced potential, family dispersal, and digital incompetence. Does that sound like you? Everybody is aging. Let’s explore how society’s messages may be limiting our future unnecessarily. If you have taken this class before, know there is new information for this session.
